As owner and artist, I have over 15 years experience in the tattoo industry as well as 10+ years experience piercing. I do all styles of tattoos and specialize in custom tattoo designs on all skin tones. Over the years, Josue has come to specialize in drawing custom designs unique for each client using their ideas for reference & incorporating them with any style to best fit your body and placement.

TATTOO APPRENTICE
We asked Robert about himself and why he wanted to pursue tattooing and these are a few words from him :
I grew up in Everett, WA and ever since I can remember, art has always been a big part of my life. I was always drawing and looking for ways to improve my skills. Watching my uncle build his tattoo shop inspired me even more and over the years I would constantly show him my drawings and ask for advice on how to become a better artist. That passion eventually led me to begin my apprenticeship at Almanegra Tattoo Studio, where I’m now learning the craft of tattooing and working toward becoming a professional tattoo artist.
As a 17-year-old artist, this apprenticeship means a lot to me because it’s giving me the opportunity to grow creatively while following a path I’ve looked up to for years. I’m excited to continue learning new techniques, developing my own style, and turning my passion for art into a career.
Outside of art and tattooing, I enjoy spending time outdoors, playing soccer, and being with my family. Their support and encouragement have motivated me to keep chasing my goals and follow in my uncle’s footsteps. I’m grateful for the chance to be part of the Almanegra family and excited for what’s ahead in my journey as an artist.

ESTEVAN RUIZ-VALLE
TATTOO APPRENTICE
We asked Estevan about himself and why he wanted to pursue tattooing and these are a few words from him :
Ever since I was a kid, art has been a huge part of who I am. Drawing and painting have always been more than just hobbies to me they’re how I relax, express myself, and stay inspired. No matter what was going on in life, creating art was always the thing that brought me peace and pushed me to keep growing.
Over the years, I stayed dedicated to my craft and continued challenging myself creatively. I even had three of my pieces featured in the Edmonds Arts Festival, which gave me even more motivation to take my passion seriously and turn it into something meaningful.
This apprenticeship is a chance for me to level up my skills, grow as an artist, and continue building a future doing what I truly love. I’ve already started selling some of my artwork, and seeing people connect with pieces I created has been one of the most rewarding feelings.
My specialty is portrait work, mainly using acrylic paint and pen. I love creating pieces that capture emotion, detail, and individuality and I’m excited to continue evolving my style as both an artist and future tattoo artist.

Tattoo Artist Stations are available for rent available for a flat fee, no commissions. We are a looking for well rounded experienced artist with established clientele. Artist are required to be fully licensed or able to obtain a license before starting.
Apprenticeships are available for a fee but we do offer payment options for these, The apprenticeship program is for one year and apprentices are able to rent stations after completing the apprenticeship and being licensed. "When I first came to addictive tattoo shop I was very skeptical because I got a really bad tattoo from the previous shop I went to, I came to Josue for help and hope for him to fix my horrible tattoo that I got from a different place. When I for met him he was so sweet and so understanding of what I wanted my tattoo to look like. He said my tattoo would be hard to fix but he can do it! I was very hopeful for my appointment. When I went in for my re-do of my tattoo he explain everything he was going to do and what it was going to look like. He was very communicative on what I wanted, asking me question on the placements and everything! While he was tattooing me he was walking through what he was doing with each section of the tattoo. I was in shock by the end of my tattoo. it looked so beautiful so nice. It was exactly what I wanted in the first place. never thought in a million years that my old tattoo would ever be fixed. Ever since Josue helped me out I have always gone to him and will go to him wherever he goes !"
